paradise reef, nice drop off - i have dived here a couple of times in 2008 and 09, paradise is a lovely drop off with hundreds of types of fish and common corals nothing especially out of the ordinary here but im sure some unusual fish could come in occasionally so u might be lucky, there are some nice stacks or bommies dotted along the reef that u could explore for hours if u could with all the tiny life living on the coral and in the nooks of rockwork, on one dive we had a large neopolian wrasse swim along beside us a couple of metres above watching to see what we done and when we done our turn at 100 bar the wrasse turned with us and followed for another few minutes, i was looking for critters to take photos of and i thought i had found an unusual clam, when i got closer to take some pictures i realised it was actually a womens hair clasp that had rusted and become swollen or something, paradise is littered an awful lot because nearly every budget hotel is up on ras um sid hill which runs the lenght of paradise reef,so a lot of the un educated tourists tend to throw coins bottles and aparently hair clasps into the water for fun, divers do pick up the trash so i guess it could be even more littered if it werent for us, a really beautiful reef in general though and well worth a visit
