Video from YouTube -
This video was filmed last July on the artificial wreck, "HMCS Yukon", when a large school of juvenile fish made it a summer home. It was a milestone for the artificial reef in proving that it could be an attractive habitat for a thriving fish population. As soon as we heard about the fish, we jumped on the first open dive boat. The juvenile fish attracted predators, including jellyfish, ling cod and some crabs.
The second dive on the video was in the kelp and it includes an encounter with a bat ray that played chicken with my camera and California seal, which played hide and seek with us.
